Make use of assemblies instead of individual takeoff for each trade, meaning do a linear, area, count takeoff and add child items for your items, like drywall, paint, insulation, etc.

Or, as others have mention the 4GB patch does help, but its not an end all be all fix. My suggestion is try to use the linear tool instead of the segment tool where you can, or keep segment heavy trades in their own job, electrical ESPECIALLY.
#PLANSWIFT 10 FULL#
Eventually you just get so full that it has no choice but to slow down. I like to put it this way, you are filling your truck up with bricks, and every new takeoff item, or new section is another brick you are loading up. If you have a lot of segments, counts, or use the joist tool a ton that is what really slows it down.īasically every takeoff section gets its own folder, i.e: every individual count, each segmented linear and area, and every time you make a change its checking that EACH one of those folders is saved and hasn't corrupted. Planswift has an archaic saving method when it comes to them.

The patch is NTCore's 4GB Patch, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to provide a link.īiggest problem is the type of takeoff tools you use. It's been awhile since I did it and I just can't remember the full process so I can't remember if there was somthing that had to be done manually to apply it to Planswift or if it all gets executed in the 4GB patch file. Try calling their support to see if they can provide you the documentation for it, if that doesn't work just try downloading 4GB patch and following the instructions. Looks like ConstructConnect has taken down a bunch of stuff since they purchased it. It's not letting me login to the portal either it just says "portal is not currently accessible" when I enter my credentials.

If you’re able to login, can you grab the 4GB patch and throw it up on Dropbox or something please? I’m not able to login into this site with my Planswift login, nor will it allow me to create an account. I have the Intel UHD 630 and an Invidia Quadro P2000 graphics card. Good catch, I should have included that in my initial post. Do you use an intel igpu, or a dgpu? Planswift swears that intel uhd 620/630 igpu aren’t good enough at FHD.
